La Playa Orient Bay

For a relaxing beach vacation, I’d definitely recommend La Playa. The staff are welcoming and always around when you need something. Catherine at the front desk was especially helpful. If you’re planning dinners, boats, or other parts of your trip, give her a call.

The bar staff and GP treated us so well, and the food and drinks were great. Our room was clean, the hotel team gave us great service, and the location is perfect. We absolutely loved staying at La Playa and will definitely come back.

The service is the main reason I’ll come back. Tristan was sincerely helpful and available, and made my Monday at the beach a great day. Since there were no reservations, he kindly offered clients front-row spots to enjoy the magnificent view, while keeping an eye on things without being intrusive. The beach and its chairs and mattresses were very clean. You can see the care taken to maintain them and replace them when needed, and there wasn’t cigarette or other small trash in the sand. I did see more tourists than in previous years smoking and leaving cigarettes in the sand, though. I hope visitors respect the effort to keep the beach clean. Thank you, Tristan!

Be careful booking this hotel online. You may think you’ve reserved an available room, then get an email three days later saying the hotel is booked. This can happen even when management already knows the hotel is full.
