Novotel Singapore on Kitchener

The room was comfortable, the food was good, and we got the two adjoining rooms on a higher floor with a great city view and an upgrade, just as requested. The team handled our requests with patience and attention. At the front desk, Mrs Rachel was especially outstanding, with impressive patience, efficiency, and people skills. I wasn’t as pleased with the restaurant management, which seemed reluctant about Accor membership, but overall it was a great stay.

Breakfast had a nice mix of local and international dishes, though it could get crowded. We also enjoyed the pool, which was a good place for the kids to unwind, and the gym was clean and well kept. Our room was modern, comfortable, and clean, with cozy beds and good air conditioning. Housekeeping kept it neat, and the Wi-Fi was useful for planning our days. The staff, especially at the front desk, were friendly and helpful, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. We found Novotel Singapore on Kitchener Road convenient for getting around, with Farrer Park MRT, City Square Mall, and lots of food options within walking distance. Our family had an enjoyable stay and would consider returning.

We had five rooms for our extended family during a five-day stay, and there was plenty of space in each one, including well-sized bathrooms and room for luggage. The breakfast was lavish, with great choices for Indian guests. There was also an Indian-friendly dinner buffet, a real help after long sightseeing days. Dinner was good, although a few more choices would improve it. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the comfortable waiting area was handy when we arrived early. The central location made it easy to get around. Spacious rooms and Indian food were the highlights. I’d recommend it to families, especially Indian travellers.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. I found it a terrible choice for a family. It felt like they’d deny basic things first, then provide them as a favour and ask for a good review in return. Front desk staff always seemed busy on the system, ignored guests, and deliberately delayed my check-in. The hotel also felt unfriendly to children: the kitchen is outsourced, there’s no kids’ menu, and children are expected to eat adult food. Travelling with an infant made it a nightmare. Room service was delayed, and the staff were unprofessional.
