It’s a spacious, really nice apartment with everything you could need. From the balcony you can see Bled castle, and it’s just a 5-10 minute walk to the lake and the main shops and restaurants. That’s a huge plus, since parking in and around Bled is tricky and very expensive.

The apartment itself was very nice, about a 10-minute walk from the front. We’d messaged the host that morning to say we’d arrive at 3:30pm, but when we got there she didn’t answer or send check-in instructions. They came an hour and a half later. Just annoying.

There are bikes for guests to use, and we loved riding them. The wooden cabin is beautiful, with comfortable beds and excellent amenities. The owner was super friendly and welcomed us with homemade schnapps. Just be aware the stairs inside are steep, so I wouldn’t recommend it for older, injured, or disabled people. 10/10!

The lake was amazingly close on foot, and there were bikes to use for free as well as free parking. The kitchen was well stocked, with an oven, kettle, four-ring hob, and plenty of plates and cups. The bed was really comfortable too. Five stars!
