Apartments Violeta

There were signs around the apartment with rules that felt odd and a bit patronizing. One asked guests to keep showers to four minutes and turn off the water while soaping. That felt intrusive in a private apartment, especially since the bathroom already made showering unpleasant. The bathroom was old and unhygienic, with mold in the shower and a ventilation system that smelled terrible. There was a musty odor throughout. The apartment itself felt uncomfortable and dark, and we didn’t feel welcome or relaxed. It’s in a basement, has cold tiled floors, and badly needs renovation. The cluttered, mismatched decor was tacky and overwhelming. The price was very high for the quality of the accommodation, and the price-to-quality ratio was extremely poor. We were very disappointed and wouldn’t book again. The owner later replied to this review saying we hadn’t stayed there. That isn’t true. The photos I included show signs that were inside the apartment during our stay. It’s disappointing that the response denied we were there instead of addressing the criticism constructively. I’m adding this note so future guests have the full context.
