Bled Home

We had a great stay and I’d happily return. The setting is gorgeous, with the smell of grapes around the place, and the beds were comfortable. The price was very reasonable, too. The apartment was cozy and well equipped, with some coffee ready when we arrived, which felt welcoming. The owners are genuinely lovely and deliver what they promise. They arranged for us to collect the key from the neighbours while they were out, then came by themselves and were very direct and professional about the business side. The father even played table tennis with us and took time to give my partner tips on stance and technique. One thing to keep in mind if you plan to cook: I struggled with the ceramic stovetop because it seemed either scorching hot or not hot enough, and I burned my food. I’m used to induction or gas, so someone accustomed to ceramic may know what to expect.
