Frida's Old House

The room had a handy kitchenette with cooking utensils and basics like milk and oil. It was a great base for visiting Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, and the surrounding area, and we especially liked being away from the crowds. George and Luka were wonderful hosts. They made sure we had what we needed and shared lots of recommendations. We got a tasty dessert when we arrived, and they even let us use the wine cellar. Those thoughtful touches made our stay at Frida’s Old House memorable. We're already thinking about when we can come back. Thanks to George, Luka, and the family!

The property was beautiful and full of life, and the location was just right. Our room was clean, homey, and well organized, with a fully equipped kitchen. The windows kept outside noise out well. The whole family hosting us was kind and helpful, and we appreciated their tips, the Easter gift, and the honey. There was also a welcome cake, complimentary drinks, and wine. We had a great stay at Frida’s and would definitely return 🤗

The hospitality really stood out. Our host shared useful local tips on where to eat and drink, where to park in the city, and what was worth seeing, and made us feel at home. Parking was free and easy. We were surprised with sleds when snow came unexpectedly, and the cellar had coffee and wine. There were also plenty of pillows and blankets and some food waiting for us. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and set in gorgeous nature. Everything felt warm and inviting from the moment we arrived. It was a stay we’ll remember, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Lukas explained everything so well, and the room had everything we needed. Such a beautiful place, one of the best we’ve stayed in. Definitely recommend!
