We stayed for one night on a stopover, and the wonderful, peaceful lakeside location was a highlight. The lake is about a three-minute walk away, with great restaurants very close by. Maria, our host, was lovely and spoke English really well. It’s an old-style house that’s kept in decent condition, and the spa has been renovated in a modern style. Best wishes from Hungary, Panna & Imre.

The room creaked like crazy, and the bed was even noisier. If you like a mattress that feels almost like wood, this might be just the thing for you.

We could walk to the lake in just a few minutes, and our room looked out over it. The young woman who welcomed us was lovely and shared plenty of ideas for things to do nearby and places to eat. We had a room with its own bathroom, and there are also shared-bathroom rooms for anyone wanting to spend less. I thought the price and quality made it a perfect choice.

Maria gave us such helpful tips on what to see and do. We had a family room with a spectacular balcony overlooking the lake, and the old, traditional hotel had loads of charm. What a great find!

We got a gorgeous lake view from what was the best bedroom. The welcome was perfect, and the shared bathroom was cleaned very often, so it wasn't an issue for me. I can't speak for the other bedrooms, though. It can get noisy.
