The river is close by for a dip, and there are good hiking options. After a long walk, the hot tub was a real treat. Our family of four had plenty of room in the tent, and it was clean inside. The beds were comfortable, and the hosts were helpful and informative. I understand the marks outside come from weathering and are a manufacturing fault. The facilities were a squeeze: two men's toilets and two showers in a tight area, with everyone needing them around the same time. The toilets are only about two feet from where people brush their teeth. The sanitary facilities were clean, but after 8 p.m. I saw several people struggle to get the doors open with the required card. Breakfast was inconsistent. We often missed out on eggs, which seemed to be limited to one per guest. I get the wish to avoid waste, but breakfast was included in what we paid for. The cats roam around the site and come into tents, which was a problem for us because we're allergic. Campers were using the shared kitchen constantly, and many seemed to bring a lot of their own kitchen gear from home. One night, people wandered around shining a torch into our tent late at night, which wasn't great with small kids there. There's only one restaurant within walking distance, and it closes at 9:30 p.m. The campfire is small, though it worked well for cooking marshmallows. All in all, I didn't feel the stay was worth the price.

Our kids were happiest around the campfire, enjoying the relaxed feel and all the activities. The whole place was one of the best sites we've visited in Europe. Monika and David were kind and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. We had a really pleasant stay. The tents and the grounds were great, and it's a lovely base for exploring the Soca valley. Very well done.

The changing breakfasts were a real highlight, and the kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned regularly, so everything felt comfortable. The tents are decorated in a cozy way. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. David and Monika were friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for local walks and activities. They could also arrange bookings or rentals when needed. I'd happily recommend staying here.

We arrived at short notice late in the season, and Monica and David welcomed us like friends. They even found us a rafting trip for the next day and got us a discount. David grew up in the area and shared lots of interesting details about it. I also managed to do our laundry. We had a brilliant time here in our campervan. The views are unbelievable, and the place is stunning. There are lovely animals around, and sometimes they even came into the van. Monica and David are such warm hosts, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The glamping area in the other field looked dreamy too. If you're visiting the Soca valley, you MUST stay here!

The tents were roomy, clean, and nicely spaced apart. We had a fantastic time, with great breakfasts that changed a little each day. Monika and David are easygoing hosts who are always ready to help. We'd definitely come back when we're in the area.
