Glamping Virje

We were disappointed by how cold the employees seemed, and found it silly that everything could only be paid for in cash. There wasn't much shade either, with most pitches in direct sunlight. Still, we stayed in two small tents and appreciated the very clean, modern showers and toilets. The small campsite didn't get crowded, and the price felt fair for the quality. I'd recommend it for tent camping.

The camp was working well overall, and the reception staff spoke English well. I assume the place is run by Czechs, since everyone there seemed Czech or Slovak. It’s a nice, smaller campsite at a good price, with a huge free parking area out front. They also offer water activities along with accommodation at reasonable prices, so it’s a good option if you want to try some. There was a downside with the men's showers: only one was working and the second was out of service. I had a long wait during the busiest time, though the other shower might be fixed soon.

An excellent family-run recreation spot for small groups, families, and kids. You can reach all the sports activities with just a short walk. Very convenient.

I wouldn't recommend it if you're staying in Bovec. There's nowhere near enough parking for the number of camping spots, and you can't drive to your pitch. It's just one grassy field. The toiletries are clean but limited, with only two men's toilets and two showers. Most of all, one staff member was so unfriendly that it spoiled the experience. The rest of the stay was mediocre.
