On a recent private cycling tour, we, twowheeltours, stayed at Mangart in the beautiful Bovec valley. There was plenty of parking, comfortable rooms, and locked, secure bike parking. The buffet dinner was excellent, much better than other buffets, and breakfast was hearty enough for a day of sport. We walked into town for drinks and will be back.

We stayed here with Euro Hike and couldn’t have asked for a better location or stay. The service was excellent, especially from the very accommodating wait staff. Breakfast was great too, with a huge spread of cold cuts, pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, yogurt, and more. The rooms were nice, with great balconies for coffee or a cold Laskos.

The outdoor pool was surprisingly pleasant, and the hotel is worth a stay if you find yourself in Bovec. The rooms are large enough and air-conditioned. Breakfast was fine and the food tasted good, but it was served underground, with no view of the beautiful mountain scenery.
