There’s plenty to keep you busy, and the kids’ playground is a nice one. The nature around the place is beautiful, yet the city is very close. A great spot.

The view from up here is awesome. There’s a good mix of relaxing and active things to do: try the zipline, climb the trees, take the bob cart, or do all three.

It’s a lovely, idyllic spot by the ski slopes, with plenty of cycling paths nearby. The service let it down, though. The waiter couldn’t tell us about the ski lift or local attractions, and the beer choice was just two generic options.

I used to enjoy hiking here from Celje and stopping for a meal, so the change under the new owners was a real disappointment. They’ve completely changed what’s on offer: now it’s just four expensive menus, with no simple option like the sausage that’s a classic at a lodge. I suppose I’ll have to go to nearby Pečovniška koča instead.

4.5 Great views, and from what I saw there’s enough to do that you wouldn’t get bored, though I didn’t try the attractions myself. The room was clean and comfy, more than enough for such a low price. Staff were helpful, friendly, and spoke English well. Small warning: the WC light shuts off pretty quickly, so hurry through your shower :P
