The hosts were amazing, kind, and very helpful. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot with beautiful scenery, lots of hiking trails, and an awful lot of cows ;)

Getting there by car is easy, and the place allows dogs and other pets. We went in winter to this part of Krvavec, somewhere we’d never been before and hadn’t known about. What a find. It felt like home when we were kids, thanks to the warmest hospitality we’d had in a long time. The setting is fantastic and so peaceful, with paths all around to wander. The balcony was lovely, and the stars at night were a treat. Cows everywhere, and you can feel how alive the nature is. We took the dog running on the big nearby hill every morning and afternoon. The views are breathtaking, and the walking trails are great too. Cleanliness, hospitality, food, and price all get five stars from me. I’d especially recommend it if you like home-cooked meals.

A retro cottage with an authentic feel, lovely for warming up on a winter’s day and having a drink or a local meal. They take good care of the kids too.
