The garden was a lovely surprise, with plenty of places to sit, a large inflatable pool, and a hill right in front. I also didn’t expect the house to have several saunas, and Nina was happy for me to use one even though we were only there for a night. She met us at the gate, showed us around patiently, and explained all the details. The guest rooms are thoughtfully set up, the kitchen has what you need, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. Getting around was easy: it’s about five minutes by car from the airport, with a public bus there too, and Ljubljana is half an hour away by bus. We’d brought food because Nina’s description made it sound remote, but there’s a big supermarket a five-minute walk away and a restaurant next door where we had a lovely dinner at a reasonable price. We also passed bike rental, a bakery, and other restaurants on our walk. Nina takes great care of the house and was one of the best hosts I’ve met. I’d recommend staying here for a flight, winter skiing, or a short countryside break.

Pizzeria Štalca is right next door, and the ski slopes are only a five-minute drive away. There are bakeries, shops, and other restaurants nearby too. The hosts were so friendly and always ready to help. Don’t think twice about booking this lovely place. Thanks to the Stenovec family, we’ll definitely be back! ♥️

The apartment is entirely the owners’ own work, and they’ve done a lovely job. Our hostess greeted us with a bottle of champagne (Picture) and carefully explained where to find restaurants and bars. She was incredibly kind and helpful, really everything a guest could hope for. We’ll definitely return, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it.
