Hotel Pri Mostu

The team made us feel welcome without hovering, and the hotel is in a great spot beside the main wellness area across the street. Breakfast had countless choices in a stylish diner-cafe. It’s a small, intimate boutique hotel with wonderful, well-equipped rooms and bathrooms, including plenty of shelves, hooks, and cabinets. I’ve travelled a fair bit and worked in tourism for over 10 years, and this is a hidden gem. I’d come back!

We were biking and just wanted the cheapest place in town, so we didn’t expect much. Instead we got a squeaky-clean apartment and really nice young owners. The place is still being restored and the kitchen isn’t working yet, so there’s only basic food. For now it’s more of a bar than a restaurant. We booked bed and breakfast, but it felt more like bed and banquet: the breakfast was so abundant we thought the table was meant for all the guests, not just the three of us. We’ll definitely return. From the look of things, a restaurant should be running pretty soon, and then I’m afraid a free room may be harder to find.

The rooms have been newly renovated and are comfortable. Ours had air conditioning and a really good-sized fridge. There’s a wonderful pub and the staff were very helpful. One of the best properties around here.

A pretty good beer selection beyond Union and Lasko. I think they have some food too, though I didn’t try any. The inside is quaint, and I’d definitely stop by for a relaxed evening beer.
