The staff were friendly, and pets were welcome. It was a really pleasant stay, with a clean room and spotless shared bathrooms and showers. The rooms are spacious, though light or noise might bother you, so I'd bring an eye mask and earplugs. We used the hostel as a base for a few days of excursions, which worked well since we didn't want to move every day. It's just outside Idrija's centre, only a few minutes away on foot, and there's a supermarket less than five minutes' walk away. Free parking is right in front. There's a large kitchen and some tables and chairs on the terrace. Drinks are available while reception is open.

The shared kitchen was nice, and those hot showers felt great after hiking in the mountains. The staff were friendly, the price was good, and it's easy to get to if you don't mind walking up stairs :p

I went with my college, Coleg Ceredigion and Coleg Sir Gar, and it was a great opportunity. The staff were so lovely 🥰 There were some great activities, especially the karaoke night put on by the volunteers! 🎤 It's a cheap, affordable place, and I'd definitely recommend it. 👌

The view was amazing, and everything was clean. The staff were super friendly, patient, and very helpful. The rooms are minimalistic, which I actually liked. We had a very nice stay, and I'll definitely stay there again.

Looks great, but it's closed until May 2026. :(
