A must for hikers and anyone who enjoys being out in nature and staying in wooden houses. The mountain views are amazing, and there’s a barbecue and a wood stove.

It’s wonderfully quiet here. Bring enough food for your stay because the shop is a long way off. If you do run short, there’s plenty of food available at normal prices. And bring drinking water, since the tap water isn’t safe to drink!

That view, the silence, and all the luxury left us speechless. We stayed one night, and it was quite an experience. The owner welcomed us, showed us around the cottage, explained the area, and even lit the wood-fired hot tub. We settled in with wine and beer, watching the sunset. Later the tub was bubbling away while we waited for clear skies, and we got a whole sky full of stars. The next morning we took the cable car up to see the shepherd village, which was wonderful too. Such a fantastic day and night!
