The host was kind enough to lend us towels when we were about to go rafting, which we appreciated. The rooms have everything you need, so they'd suit a longer stay, and the kitchen had the basics for cooking. There's also a supermarket about 500m away for anything else. The host clearly cares for plants, with a lovely garden around the property. We stayed in the original house beside the road, but slept well thanks to the impressive soundproofing. The three newer apartments looked nice from outside, too.

Kobarid suited us well as a small town, with a few restaurants and a market within walking distance. Our family had a great stay, and the place was just the right size for two adults and two kids. The owner-host was very welcoming and available whenever we had questions. Bovec is about a 20 minute drive away, with rafting, climbing, and other activities, and it feels much busier with tourists.

The owner made us feel like old friends, sharing information and chatting with us so kindly. My girlfriend and I only stayed one night, but had an amazing time. The room was spotless and spacious, with decor that blended modern and vintage better than I've seen elsewhere. The shower felt great, a real luxury in an apartment or hotel. The location is good, though you have to walk a little to reach nearby spots like the roman-esque church, the Napoleonic bridge, or natural sites. We knew we'd found a great place, but it was even better than expected. 10/10, we'd recommend it and come back.

Our bungalow was peaceful, and despite being right by the village's main street, we couldn't hear the traffic at all. We stayed two nights and I really wished we'd had a third. The garden and shared spaces were clean, calm, and clearly cared for. The host was lovely, funny, and always ready to help. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
