Turisticna Kmetija Kranjc

The meals were a highlight of our stay. Nearly everything served at breakfast and dinner came from the farm or nearby local farmers, and the fresh, seasonal breakfast was generous and delicious. Dinner was a wonderful three-course meal and an experience in itself. My wife has several food allergies, and we really appreciated how thoughtfully the meals were adapted for her. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the host was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Places with this kind of hospitality, food, and connection to the region are rare. It's more than just a place to stay, and we highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay here in June. The setting is spectacular, with amazing hikes starting right from the door, and the room was quiet and clean. The family were incredibly kind and helpful, and their hospitality was wonderful. We had dinner on both nights, EUR25 per person for three courses, and the menu was different each day. It was delicious. Breakfast included local meat and cheeses as well as homemade jams. We also got packed lunches for two days of hiking. We'd absolutely recommend it and hope to return!

Surrounded by mountains and the beautiful Soča river, this was an unforgettable place to spend our holiday. We stayed for 10 days, and Irena and Urška helped us plan activities for each day. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, with thoughtful touches like vases of fresh cut flowers, and the in-house sauna and hot tub were perfect for unwinding. Breakfast came with fresh-cut meat, fruit, vegetables, local cheeses, fresh juices, and more. Each day, dinner was a tasty and satisfying three-course meal for 25€ per person. We felt truly cared for and left with full hearts, plus homemade syrups, pesto, and pots of honey from Kranjc. Thank you so much. We can't recommend the place enough and will definitely be back.

Ursca and Irene were incredibly warm and accommodating. When circumstances meant they couldn't provide dinner, they upgraded our room free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, with many, perhaps most, of the dishes made from products from their own farm. Tourist farm Kranjc, nestled in the Julian Alps, was a wonderful base for our stay in the Soca valley. We'd absolutely stay there again if we're ever back in that part of the world.
