We especially liked the terrace, whether for morning coffee or a chat in the evening. Breakfast was an amazing buffet for 7,50€ per person, and the shared spaces had an easygoing, social feel where it was simple to meet other travelers. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and happy to share local tips. The hostel is in a handy spot, quiet enough to relax but only a short walk from shops, cafés, and the beach. We had a lovely few nights and thought it was great value. I’d stay here again on a trip to Slovenia.

The room was clean at first, the location was good, and parking was convenient. But during our four-night stay it wasn’t cleaned again and our towels weren’t changed. When we politely asked at reception, the staff said we’d misunderstood. We had asked several times about fresh towels and been told they would clean the room on the third day.

We both had excellent meals, roast veal in mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes, and meat lasagna. Each came with soup and salad, all for nine euros. This bistro is on a hotel property and gets busy with locals at lunchtime. The portions are generous, the menu changes each day with five daily mains as well as a regular menu, and the servers were pleasant and smiling. Good food for the price.

We had a spacious, comfortable room on the top floor, very clean, with a lovely view across Koper. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we’d come back and recommend it to friends. The parking is about a two-minute walk from the hotel, which isn’t ideal but wasn’t a big problem for us. The apartment walls don’t block much sound, so you can hear the neighbors easily. It didn’t bother us, though someone sensitive to noise might find it annoying.

The view was amazing, the beds were very comfortable, and the top apartment was spotless. Staff were lovely and the hospitality felt professional. I got my favourite room number too! It’s also extremely dog-friendly. Thanks, we’ll definitely be back. 👍😀❤️
