Hostel Xaxid

A peaceful place to unwind, run by people who really care. The hospitality was great. See you again someday!

We had a wonderful time at Xaxid Hostel in Zazid. It's clean and cozy, with a warm, home-like feel. The owner, Dušan, was generous and very kind, and knew a lot about the area. His tips for hikes and things to do were great. A welcoming, authentic place where the hosts really care. Highly recommend it.

Xaxid was a great base for climbing in Slovenia and Istria during my trip to Osp. The hostel is conveniently located, clean, and well looked after. Dusan was what made the stay special: friendly, welcoming, and always ready to answer questions or do more to help guests have a good time. I'd happily recommend it to anyone after an affordable, comfortable, welcoming place. Thanks, Dusan!

Staying at Xaxid made it hard to return to everyday life in the big city. The location gives you plenty of privacy, while still making it easy to take short trips around Slovenia's coastal region. The room, kitchen facilities, and bathroom were just right, clean, modest in the best way, warm, welcoming, and stylish. Dusan is a true gentleman who respects his guests, even though he lives almost next door. We couldn't have imagined a better place. You have to experience it to fall in love with it. Highly recommend.
