You pay a top price to sleep in a nasty dorm surrounded by retailers’ storage areas. The place is dirty and cheap, with no effort put into making it pleasant, yet it’s charged like proper three-star accommodation. I don’t see how it officially got three stars. The advertised free private parking seems to mean finding a spot on the street, if you can. And yes, there’s a port nearby, but it’s the industrial port.

When we got back from sightseeing that afternoon, the room hadn’t been serviced. The used, wet towels were still on the bathroom floor and the beds hadn’t been made. There’s no television in the room either. My cousin had booked two nights at this motel, whose description said free private parking was available without a reservation. In practice, the only parking around it is public, and with so many businesses nearby, finding a spot is difficult. Where’s the truth in the advertising? Why call it a motel instead of a hostel?!

The beach and old town are very close, and you can get whatever you need within a few minutes. The team is friendly and helpful. A great place to stay, I’d recommend it!

The staff were very nice, but this felt like basic student accommodation rather than a three-star hotel. The beds are tiny, there’s no breakfast, and the quality is too low for the price.
