Hotel Kozana

We arrived on August 15th with two dogs, and the room was 31.4° inside. The air conditioning had been broken for days, but nobody told us. We had to point it out, and then heard excuse after excuse. It seemed the AC had not worked at the property for some time. With our dogs in the room, we were suffering and felt forced to accept the situation. They guaranteed us a refund for the inconvenience, since we had paid for a service they did not provide and had not even warned us about. But then they ignored us and Booking, and refunded nothing. We had already paid €2*5 through Booking and €5* at the property. The pipes are old and noisy, the shower made noise constantly, and the sink was clogged. For the money they charge and still won’t refund, they could at least fix these things. Ignazio and Gal, thank you for the lie.

The room was dirty, with lots of dust and hair under the beds and mold in the bathroom. I did like the crunchy bacon at breakfast.

We came looking for a pet-friendly place with AC, so we could leave our dog while going wine tasting. The AC was broken and it was very hot inside, which made leaving the dog alone impossible. That made the stay a real failure for us. There are only rooms here, no winery or restaurant, and honestly those are the things you want when visiting, so I’d suggest an apartment at a winery instead. Two stars because I thought breakfast was okay, despite what some people said.

We had a great time. The rooms were comfortable, the service was lovely and friendly, and breakfast was amazing. 10/10.
