City Hotel Kr Ko

Sometimes management holds private parties inside the hotel. If you like partying all night and don't mind losing sleep, hotel City could suit you. For a quiet night's rest, I'd look elsewhere.

I gave four stars mainly for the restaurant, where the food is tasty and moderately priced. My mixed grill and a glass of wine came to about 15 euros, and a glass of local wine was less than one euro. The hotel itself is OK. Great value, and I'd recommend the restaurant.

They have a handy service where you can pick up postcards at reception, write your message and address, and have them sent at no extra cost. No stamp or postbox needed. There was also somewhere to store my bicycle, and a supermarket right across the street. The hotel was comfortable, with spacious rooms, lots of closet storage, and a bathroom I really liked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, better than at many of the hotels I’d visited during the previous four months of my tour.

We arrived after check-in time and were still greeted by very friendly people. The room was good, with a clean bathroom, soft bed, kettle, and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast buffet was nice too, and we ate out on the terrace.
