Guesthouse Jersin

We spent a few days here at the end of May on our motorbike, after another group of bikers recommended it. The breakfast on the terrace was really nice, and the owner even has a garage where you can keep your bikes for free. He was friendly, hardworking, and attentive, always joking around with guests. Twice, he made us a mixed grill very late, even though we arrived way too late, and the beer was perfectly cold. It’s also a handy base for some great winding rides, with Postojna Caves nearby. I’d recommend staying here for bikers and hikers, or anyone looking for good value.

A snowstorm stopped us from continuing our trip, and Jersin was the only guesthouse with availability. We were glad we stayed: our room was spacious, clean, and warm, and there’s parking. Families have their own part of the guesthouse, separate from the area for guests without children. Access for people with special needs is limited. It wasn’t a planned stop, but we enjoyed our time there.

The attic room was comfortable, though it could get hot in warm weather since there’s no air conditioning. The furniture is clean and in fair condition, if not the newest, and there’s a shared fridge in the hallway. The staff were helpful and friendly, and spoke good English. We looked at the breakfast and chose to eat elsewhere. It looked fresh, but there wasn’t a huge selection. Parking is free, and we’d still recommend this guesthouse. Thanks for everything ❤️

The friendly staff made me feel at home throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the furnishings had a cozy, modest feel. It’s a peaceful, affordable guesthouse in a lovely spot just outside Ljubljana, close to the capital. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s a great budget option with a comfortable atmosphere and good service.
