The location is good, but a security issue during our stay left us concerned. Before checking out, we came back after stepping away briefly and found our room door wide open with nobody inside. Nothing was missing. We told the staff, who said they wouldn't take action because nothing had been taken. We stayed at the hotel a few years ago and have an invoice to prove it. After we posted an honest review on Booking.com, as requested following the reservation, our stay was marked as “no-show” and the booking was cancelled. That was troubling and disappointing, since our feedback was about a real stay and given in good faith. I can provide the invoice and the discussion with booking.com.

Great service and a fantastic location. They even brought my son some sweets and things to draw with. We liked the drinks, too.

From the reception team to the restaurant, the staff were so warm, helpful, and attentive. The service felt professional throughout, and the whole place had a welcoming, homelike atmosphere. Our room was spotless, and Hotel Lent is in a superb spot in Maribor. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend it and return.

Hotel Lent is really well placed, with everything we wanted to see just a few minutes away on foot. The staff spoke lots of languages, gave us maps, and helped us find our way around the sights. They were friendly and very helpful, carried our bags, showed us to the room, and even brought the car around. Parking at the hotel cost €12 a day. We booked a basic room and it had everything we needed, including a bath and shower. Towels were replaced each day and the bins emptied. We ate in the restaurant at the front of the hotel, where both service and food were first class. I'd definitely recommend staying here and will use it again. Thanks for a very nice stay.
