The service was welcoming and professional, and the prices felt surprisingly reasonable for this level of food. This family-run restaurant is a hidden gem in Moravske Toplice, now run by a young brother-and-sister duo whose passion and hospitality come through clearly. They introduced the menu so well, sharing their knowledge and family stories that brought the local cooking tradition to life. Every dish we tried was excellent. The sautéed liver with lamb's lettuce was cooked just right, the veal steak with crispy dödöli was outstanding, and the pumpkin seed ice cream was the best we’ve had anywhere in Prekmurje. If you’re after authentic Prekmurje cuisine, this place is a must. Highly recommended.

We make a point of stopping here on long drives. The owners are helpful and kind, and the restaurant food is excellent. There are lovely swimming pools close by too. Thanks for a great time!

We were just passing through the country and stayed for a day. We had a wonderful time, and the language difference didn’t get in the way, though I’d love to learn Slovenian. Our room was spotless and comfortably warm. Everyone on staff was welcoming and ready to help. We had both dinner and breakfast and were happy with each meal. I’d never tried Wienerschnitzel before, and I loved it. The area around the hotel was quiet too. Thank you!

The pavilion was just right for our celebratory dinner, and we felt welcome from the start. The atmosphere was relaxed, the hospitality was amazing, and the food was incredible, made with plenty of local produce. They also knew a lot about where the region’s food and drinks came from. Must stop!

For traditional food from this border region between Hungary and Slovenia, this is well worth a visit. There are lots more local dishes I’d like to try. The cheese platter was top class, and they have a great selection of fine wines. We also had pancakes with homemade jam and steak cooked through with chips that didn’t burn your mouth. The atmosphere was cool and the service amazing. Highly recommend it to travelers wanting to taste traditional meals from the region.
