A pleasant little room in a great location. It was tidier and nicer than some other places we’ve stayed in Piran. Nothing fancy, but it was comfortable, air conditioned, and quiet enough inside.

If you just need somewhere to sleep in Piran, this is a good option. The hostel is tiny but centrally located, with clean rooms and approachable hosts. There are two bathrooms for four rooms, so there wasn’t much waiting. We even had a small fridge in our room.

No front desk means most things are self-service, and the local tax is collected in person in the morning. Both details could confuse guests. Still, it’s a great budget choice for a night in Piran: the room was very clean, and the bathroom was shared with only one or two other rooms.

The room for three wasn’t comfortable, and there’s no breakfast option. This is a hostel, as the receptionist pointed out, not a hotel. There’s one very clean shared bathroom for every two rooms, and free Wi-Fi. It’s well located and cheap, but there is no parking in Piran’s old town. Even though hostel Piran says online that it has parking, it really doesn’t. You’ll have to park outside the old town and pay, 17 EU per day or 60 EU a week, like other tourists in Piran.

Ivana is the heart of the hostel, keeping the rooms and toilettes lovely and clean. She’s kind, helpful, and extra friendly. This was my fifth stay, and I’ll be back as soon as I can. I’d recommend it to everyone 😊
