I had a terrible experience, especially with how the owner-manager handled our Booking reservation using what I believe was fake information. The hotel has no lift, parking or privacy. We lost our money over this, and whatever this guy replies to me will all be lies.

Hotel Max was a pleasant place to stay in Piran. The room was good, breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely book here again if I return to Piran. I would have given it five stars, but a few things brought it down to four. It’s up a hill, checking in is difficult without a working phone, which can be expensive or impossible for foreign travelers, and a nearby lumber shop makes it hard to sleep past 8 AM.

We were comfortable here, and it’s very good value for money. The rooms are on the small side, but they’re well equipped and very clean. Breakfast is basic yet sufficient. We did have a couple of problems getting into the hotel because the front desk isn’t staffed all the time.

Excellent location and great value for the price. Our room was quite small, but it had good storage, was comfortable and impeccably clean. Breakfast was generous, with buns, yogurt, fruit, cheese and cold cuts.

A very nice place, close to everything. The rooms are small but big enough, tidy and clean. Breakfast is delicious, highly recommended.
