Second Life in Piran - Hotel Zala Piran

The staff made everything easy, from the ride to and from the hotel’s dedicated parking area to the breakfast and dinner service. Breakfast was generous and beautifully laid out, and dinner was one to remember. My mother and I loved our stay in Piran. The hotel was quiet, spotless, and bright, with a modern look and touches of local art. Thanks for making us feel so comfortable and giving us a stay we’ll remember!

The staff were warm, attentive, and considerate, and we’d definitely recommend the hotel restaurant as well. Breakfast was a generous buffet, with extras like fresh eggs, omelets, and pancakes. We thought the hotel was really nice.

The location was great, peaceful but close to everything, and the dedicated parking with a free shuttle is a real help if you drive. The hotel feels modern and stylish, and our room was spotless. A kettle, tea or coffee, and a fridge would have been useful, especially at this price. Shampoo and conditioner would be welcome too. Reception seemed a bit hit and miss while we were there, and it would have helped to have a staff member there.

The restaurant was the best we tried on the trip, and one of our favorite meals. We were lucky to get a table, and would have hated to miss it. Piran was one of our favorite stops on our seven-city trip, and we’d absolutely stay here again. The place is in a great location, and you can see how much care went into making it comfortable. The breakfast was good, though the space felt cramped with everyone there at once. The man who checked us in, who I believe was the owner, seemed quite grumpy. We’d picked the place partly because we needed laundry service at that point in our trip, but when I asked, he said, “none today, maybe tomorrow or just do it yourself.” He did provide everything else we needed, but it was a shame he wasn’t more welcoming.
