The view was great, the food amazing, and the pools were clean with salty thermal sea water. It was very quiet and clean, and the staff were really friendly. I’d recommend it.

The staff were friendly and professional, but the quality just wasn’t there. The room wasn’t cleaned or maintained well, and the shower head was badly clogged with calcium. The walls were so thin I could hear everything in the room next door. Everything costs extra.

I loved the location and views, and the rooms have been renovated beautifully. They looked brand new, and they did an excellent job with the upgrade. But the extra charges at checkout were beyond ridiculous, so I can only give it two stars. It’s low season, the nightly rate is cheaper, and the hotel was very quiet. They need tourists and should be much more accommodating. I was shocked to be charged €6 every time I used the bathrobe in the room. We came to the resort for the thermal baths, but they don’t provide a towel, and then charge you for using the robe they put in your room. When we arrived, the staff kindly moved our room and explained the basics, but said nothing about extra charges or how to use the spa. I was extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The pool was lovely and usually quiet when we visited in February 2025, and our room was consistently clean. Staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of tasty choices. Dinner was the weak spot: the focus on healthy food may sound good, but there wasn’t much for kids beyond bread and dessert. Otherwise, it’s a lovely hotel in what I’d say is the best location in Portorož, and well worth a stay.
