Miha knows the area inside out, including which sights live up to the hype, which ones don’t, and where it’s easiest to park. He shared thoughtful tips and genuine hidden gems across Slovenia, suited to our budget, interests, schedule, and plans. He’s a friendly, helpful manager with a great eye for practical details. We also loved starting the day with breakfast on the patio, looking out over the peaceful river on a beautiful summer morning. It’s a handy base for driving to Lake Bled, Postonja Cave, and Predjama Castle.

Breakfast on the terrace was really good, and the staff were lovely. Miha, the manager, had plenty of useful suggestions for quieter, more authentic places in Slovenia. The setting by the river is peaceful, with a natural swimming spot formed by the river itself. You’re near Bled lake, but away from the busier atmosphere.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was nice, and the location worked well. That’s where the good points end. The windows, walls, and stairs were dirty, there were cobwebs, and loud music on the floor kept bothering us late at night. There didn’t seem to be enough staff, and the place felt like nobody was in charge. We arrived at 7:30pm for one night, only to find the kitchen had closed just before we got there because the cook wasn’t feeling well.

We stayed beside a peaceful river, with lovely surroundings for walks and biking. Bled and the nationalpark are close, but the place avoids the high prices, traffic jams, and crowds. The owner took time to talk through things to do and even wrote us a personalized list. Everyone was extremely helpful, and breakfast was very good. I’d rate it far above its 7.2 Booking score. Highly recommended.
