We found this place at the last minute during a long weekend when everything else was booked, and it turned out to be a great choice. The owners are really friendly and helpful, and it's easy to communicate with them in English. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. A chat with the owners is worthwhile too: their advice helped me get my car fixed and save my trip.

The breakfast was amazing, with so much variety that everyone could find something they liked. We almost arrived at midnight, and late check-in was allowed. Our room was clean and looked good, and toiletries were provided in the bathroom. The host spoke English very well and was nice. I'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

I spent a few nights here in January 2025 and found it quiet and relaxing. Breakfast had lots of choices, and I also had a great dinner. Thanks to Marjan for making the stay pleasant! A nice cat, part of the staff, greets you outside 🤟

Loved it! Such an awesome experience 😍 The rooms were clean and the people working there were always nice to us. If we come back to Slovenia, we'll definitely stay at Guest House Bakhus again!

The restaurant serves tasty food, and the family hospitality is just right. The rooms are adequate, though they could use some restoration. For a place to stop and sleep while traveling, this could be a good fit.
