The location is nice, and the price is a plus. The rooms are reasonably neat. Service varies: the person serving food was truly amazing, but the evening receptionist was mean, spoke aggressively, and didn’t smile. We’d booked a room for two and paid, but when we arrived in the evening she said someone else had taken it. Then she said the hotel was full, before telling us there were two rooms available on different floors.

We booked through booking.com. The receptionist kindly explained everything, including the Wi-Fi password and the sliding-door code, since there’s no one at reception in the evening. Breakfast had everything we needed. Cleaning could still be improved.

A very nice hotel with clean, renovated rooms and helpful staff. The bathroom was a little tired, but otherwise all was fine. Breakfast was tasty too. I’d recommend it!

A comfortable place to stay, with absolute peace and quiet.

The location could work well for a one-night stay, with shops, restaurants, the city centre, and the Italian border nearby. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean, but my overall impression wasn’t good enough for more than two stars. It needs a lot of renovation in every area, though it seems they’re gradually working on it.
