I was really looking forward to visiting during Restaurant Week. Hiša Ančka has a welcoming, homely atmosphere, and the Slovenian food is excellent with a modern twist. There’s a varied menu, friendly service, and an excellent wine selection. Prices are a little high, but the food and service quality make every cent worthwhile. I highly recommend it.

A touch of Italy in Slovenj Gradec, and to me, the best restaurant in Carinthia. Really top, I hardly know what else to say. I'd highly recommend visiting, whether you're staying at their place or just passing through Slovenj Gradec.
