The photos are spot on, which was a nice surprise for a last minute find. Jaka is a wood artist, and you can see that in the alpine-style wooden house. It feels like a handmade work of art. There are four apartments spread over two floors. We stayed upstairs, with a nice view towards the Vogel ski resort. Two house cats also seemed to make it clear they owned the place, and they were about the size of Garfield. The kids loved them. 😄😸

We had a great time here. The house and garden are lovely, and the room was spotless and well equipped. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had on holiday, and Jaka was always there if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

Jaka was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the apartment itself was clean and cozy. The breakfast is very, very good, so make sure to try it at least once. A few small things to keep in mind, though these are minor complaints. It can get very hot inside during summer, and there’s no AC. The bathroom ventilation also feels a little outdated, so modern equipment could improve things. If you’re sensitive to smells, the downstairs area smells of cigarette smoke, and some of it drifts into the smoke-free upstairs room when the door opens. The village also wasn’t as quiet at night and in the morning as we’d imagined. There may have been bad luck on our visit, and it’s not really something Jaka can control. If you’re hoping for complete silence, bear that in mind. We can definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

We loved our week here! Jaka was a fantastic host who really cared about his guests and did everything he could to help. He also made us a wonderful breakfast. 🤩🥹👍🏼

There’s beautiful nature right outside the door, with the house next to a mountain, and the area is gorgeous. The apartment was nice too. He even stayed up to let us in when we arrived at 3 am. Breakfast is really good as well. It was a great experience, hardly could’ve been better.
