The breakfast was decent, and that’s about the only good thing I can say about this guesthouse. The rooms were hideous, dusty, and smelled awful. It looks as though the place hasn’t been renovated since the early 80s. I got bitten by insects or bed bugs: as soon as I got into bed, my whole body started itching, and I had visible bites on my feet and upper chest. The location is near the train station, but it’s still a 20-minute walk to Most na Soci, so that doesn’t make up for the rest. For your own good, avoid this place.

The breakfast was very good and had a wide selection. There’s an easy walk along the river to Most na Soci. The hotel was very nice, the staff professional, and we had a good stay.

The house wine was excellent for the price, and the food was good too. The restaurant has an old-fashioned feel, but the service was friendly and efficient. In three weeks around Triglav, this was the second-best fish I had. Everything worked smoothly, with easy parking for drivers. The bus stop and railway are 50 meters away, and Most na Soci is a 10-15 minute walk if you want to walk off the meal. This review is for the restaurant.

The service was excellent, and the Slovenian food delicious. We stopped here after visiting the Soca river Gorge, which was amazing too. The whole river is lovely to see and swim in. Definitely worth a visit.
