This little cottage sits right among the vines, with cows and a cat nearby. The inside is beautifully furnished and the bed is sturdy, though it can get very cold indoors. The kitchen is small, so don’t expect to cook much. You can pay extra for the jacuzzi and sauna, but they’re reached by going outside. On arrival there’s a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine waiting. Nice for a day or two, but it’s too small for bigger ambitions.

The whirlpool is lovely, and in summer the air conditioning is a real relief. It’s a clean, tidy little house among the vineyards, with delicious wine available. I’d definitely recommend it for a short break.
