Guesthouse Grof

Grof is very active, generous, and involved in the community. We were recently invited, along with all the guests, to a big celebration for their new bike-motorcycling garage, with free food and drinks. During our three nights in the guesthouse, we ate there several times and used the cycling facilities, and everything was 💯. The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. The homemade food was delicious and affordable, and the hotel rooms were very clean and quiet. The cycling center is top-notch. They even cleaned our cycling clothes for free when we left them at reception, ready for pickup the next morning. We booked road bikes for two days; it rained on one of them, so we didn’t ride and weren’t charged. The route advice was perfect. Strongly recommend!

We stopped here during our motorcycle tour in August 2025 and had a wonderful stay. The food was stunning, and the wellness and gym area was the highlight for us. Everyone working there was kind and supportive, and we felt very welcome. As bikers, we appreciated having a secure garage or parking spot. Always a pleasure, would come again.

A great place with great food and a great experience. The hotel has bikes for both road and mountain cycling, so a weekend here could be a fun adventure with your family. There’s also a spa and wellness area with a lovely massage space as part of the daily routine. Use the gym as much as you like if nature isn’t your thing. It’s the best hotel in the surrounding area. Fully recommend.

We stopped for one night on the way to Italy, hoping for comfort, good food, and a decent rest. The website promised all that, and they absolutely delivered. The staff were amazing. It’s a great place, and I’d love to come back and spend some time in Slovenia too. Thank you!
