The waitress was rude, and she said that the people making noise in the closed pub after midnight were “the boss's friends,” celebrating something. The room was cold, and the walls were dirty. The towels and bed linen were old and faded. There was no soap, and only one sachet of shower gel per person. The service was terrible.

I didn't go inside the hostel, but I had a look while walking by. It looked good.

A nice pit stop for coffee and a refuel while cycling or hiking around the nearby attractions, including Celje, Žalec, and Šempeter. The staff are friendly, and the owner seems like a cool guy.

A very nice hostel in the Lower Savinja valley, close to the unique Beer fountain in Zalec.
