2/10
The location was decent, but the room was very basic and felt far too expensive for just a bed. During our three-night stay, it wasn’t cleaned and the towels weren’t changed. The booking site also didn’t mention that the restaurant and bar were closed.

The staff were completely fine, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. The place has clearly seen better days. There was a cigarette smell in the halls, stairwells, rooms, and furniture. The renovation effort is a good start, but the equipment really needs replacing.

The staff were kind, but the rooms were very basic and had a really awful perfume smell.
