We were left feeling uncomfortable because it was so hard to communicate. The staff spoke Slovak and seemed unwilling to use another language, and the receptionist's English was very poor. That attitude felt discriminatory, and I hope it improves. The Airbnb listing said access to the wellness area was included with our room, but that turned out not to be true. When we raised the issue, nobody could help us. I wouldn't recommend this place to foreign guests.

Breakfast had a great selection and was excellent. We also had a lovely large room, secure parking, and a friendly host who was happy to help.

The food they serve is delicious, and the location is perfect. The mountain air and scenery make it a nice spot to work remotely, too. Just have mobile data ready, since the wifi seems to work best for patient people! 😅💯

The garden was a peaceful place to sit with a cup of tea and enjoy the view, and I'd stay here again. We stayed in the presidential suite at Resla I, which was spacious and very nice. Although the room was advertised as soundproof, I could hear noises from outside and from some other rooms. It wasn't intrusive or annoying, and the sounds didn't come from every room, but it's worth knowing if soundproofing matters to you. Guests can use the newer Resla II, where the gym was well equipped and had everything I needed for my workout, as well as a sauna.
