Hotel Château Bela

We had a wedding of dreams for our son on 27/9/25. The ballroom’s big balcony was a lovely spot for drinks before dinner and dancing, with views over the fountain and garden. The food was very tasty, and our room, number 26, had warm colors and was really comfortable. The whole place felt like a fairy tale, so romantic and absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient, and the wedding team kept everything to a very high standard. Caterina, the event manager, was kind, helpful, and great at her job. Thank you to everyone, especially the staff member who stayed up until 5:30 am while the young ones kept dancing! There’s a little chapel next door where we attended a beautiful mass the next day. I think it seats only 80, so the couple got married in a larger church.

The pool had a great vibe, and the staff were super nice. We also had plenty of kids’ activities in dedicated areas, so they weren’t disturbing the romantic feel of the place. The wine tasting was the highlight for us. Mr Kristian guided us through the Chateau’s history, the wine samples, and the stories behind them. It was memorable. The hotel is a beautiful chateau-style place, and you can see where all the reconstruction millions went. The food was excellent too. Recommended!

The beds were a bit small, though I could accept that. The place also didn’t feel spacious or safe enough for small kids, so I wouldn’t bring them here. For a romantic stay, though, I definitely recommend it. It’s a beautiful chateau in southern Slovakia, with indoor and outdoor areas that are very well looked after. The staff were really sweet and helpful, the food was delicious, and the coffee tasted just as it should.

Our poolside waiter was amazing during the stay. Even on the busiest days, he was friendly and attentive, and our drinks and snacks came quickly. His positive attitude made relaxing by the pool even more enjoyable. Thanks for the excellent service!
