Hotel Flora

The hotel staff were awesome, and we really enjoyed our New Years stay with the family. The restaurant was clean, the people there were friendly, and the food was tasty, well prepared, and came in good portions, enough but not too much. They didn’t speak English, but that was fine for me since my wife and kids speak fluent Slovak, and the restaurant had English menus. The hotel is a short walk from both the water park and the local grocery store, pretty much between the two. We enjoyed the stay despite my son twisting his ankle and falling down the stairs. He should’ve been watching the stairs instead of his phone. I’m sure we’ll return. Wish I had more hotel photos to upload.

The food was excellent, the room very clean, and the setting quiet. The aquapark is only 3 minutes away on foot, and Cave of Liberty Demänovska is 20 minutes by car. The people working here are very polite and will help you with everything. With their approach to people and the comfort of the hotel, it should definitely have at least 3 stars. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

The service was good and breakfast was nice, but the room walls are thin and the bathrooms need renovation. Still, when you spend most of your time at the thermal spa 200m from the hotel, what else do you need?

The apartments are smaller, but cozy, and the service is pleasant. The thermal park Besenova is within walking distance!
