Max Inn Hotel

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were helpful. The rooms were clean, and public transport is very close by. But the rooms are tiny: I had to move furniture just to put my suitcase down and open it. At night I could hear the person next door snoring, and noise from below echoed up too.

The breakfast was really good, and the interior made the place feel more like home than a hotel, with its warm atmosphere, sculptures and pictures. The room was clean and comfortable, with a TV with lots of channels, a small fridge, wardrobe, air conditioning, and a bathroom with almost everything you need. At reception, the woman was always smiling, kind and polite, and gave us all the information we needed. The staff were lovely throughout. They can also help with sightseeing information, routes and maps, and even sell bus tickets. I made the reservation over the phone and got very polite, clear information, including details about parking for a large bus or coach. I’d rate it 9.9, since nobody is 100% perfect 🙂 Thanks to the lovely lady at reception!

We liked Bratislava and Hotel Max Inn enough to return for two more nights on our way back to Sweden, after first staying three nights before continuing to Hungary. During our visits we explored the city, went to the zoo, ate at some lovely restaurants, and visited the TV tower on a recommendation. We were also given useful tips about what to do, including using Bolt for taxis into town. It cost only a few euros and was convenient. Booking the apartment from Sweden was straightforward, and check-in was smooth with excellent service. We were given a good free parking spot. The apartment was fantastic, with a comfortable balcony and two air conditioners that were much appreciated in the hot weather. Sleeping in a cool room was great, and the huge king-size bed fit our whole family comfortably. The breakfast buffet had a superb range that worked well for us. I was travelling from Sweden to Slovakia with my wife and daughter.

Our flight was delayed, so we arrived late at night, but the staff made self check-in easy with clear instructions, including exactly which room to go to and all the details we needed. Their help took a lot of stress out of the situation. The hotel is practical and well organized, and the team were very friendly and helpful.
