A nice place to recover after a hike, with reasonable prices. The hearty cabbage soup (kapustnica) was excellent, and the Czech beer was served properly chilled.

Everything we tried tasted great, from the schnitzel and sauerkraut soup to the fries and potato dumplings with cheese and bacon. A particularly good meal after visiting Liberty Cave.

The setting is peaceful and tucked away, yet the skibus stops right there, which makes the location excellent. The apartments are cozy, the hosts welcoming, and the food tasty.

There are only four tables inside, but the room feels warm, cozy, and pleasant. We liked all the food we had, and the beer too. There's also a small kids' corner with toys.

The food was great, and the service was even more memorable. We were waiting for the rest of our hiking group, and the kind women at Jakub restaurant stayed past closing so our friends could eat after their long hike. We're grateful. Thanks, and sorry for the trouble, though I guess it worked out for everyone ;)
