The river made our stay at Penzion Josef especially relaxing. We left the window open to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the water, which was amazing. Our cosy room faced the river on the top floor. The mattresses were extremely comfortable, though the pillows could be better. Martin was very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with him. Breakfast was delicious, with generous portions ordered in advance, and we could have as much coffee and tea as we liked. The small sauna was a lovely extra. It can be booked privately, and the music, water, and candlelight made it a delightful experience. We had a lovely skiing break with friends and really appreciated Martins's hospitality. I'd recommend Penzion Josef for a relaxing holiday.

The bedrooms look out over the river. There's a large ski boot room with plenty of dryers, warm rooms, and friendly staff. The location is great, with the ski bus stopping right there.

A very friendly Owner and a lovely terrace with a private pool by the river, surrounded by plenty of well-kept plants and flowers. The rooms are clean, and it's a great place to explore Niżne Tatry and relax in the evening. The nearby BUS stop makes it easy to visit Jasna or both caves. We recomend staying here!

We had everything we needed, and the owners were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to get us a great price and a generous discount. The location by the creak is lovely, close to the ski bus stop. Many thanks, Ana, Raff and Adam.

The owner runs the place, makes breakfast, and is always willing to help with information about things to do in the region. The rooms are comfortable, and the cottage is right beside a stream. At night, we opened the window and the sound of running water had me asleep in five minutes. I had a hard time falling asleep again after we got home :)
