Penzión U Marsa

The mountain and forest views from this Penzión are incredible, and the location is handy, with an ATM, an inexpensive cafe, a transfer and forest paths in different directions nearby. After a long, tiring trip from Austria, I was very glad I chose to stay here for a week. It was easy to settle in. My room was very clean and had what I needed without extra clutter. The bed was comfortable and quiet, the furniture was in excellent condition, and I couldn't hear other guests through the walls. The shower room had the necessary accessories. The hall and corridor were decorated with tasteful details, tourist information posters and maps, which added to the calm, pleasant feel of the place. There was a dining area with delicious breakfasts, modern music and lovely decor. The internet worked well, with no speed drops. At the well-equipped reception, a woman named Sylvia greeted me warmly. I spoke with her a few times over the following days, and she was a very pleasant, interested person to talk to. She speaks Slovak and German fluently. I was given special information books and learned a lot about the Tatras and Donovaly. Whenever I had a question, I could get an answer, and they were always ready to help. I left with wonderful memories of a great holiday, thanks to the comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and the owners' warm, professional attitude. I'm sure I'll book a room here again on my next visit.
