Villa Ephélia is a convenient base for a stress-free trip to Dunajská Streda’s thermal park. It’s so close to the water that you can practically feel the steam from your window, and the short walk means more time soaking in the healing waters and less time getting around. The guesthouse is charming and understated, with a cozy, welcoming feel and the comforts of home. No long drives or complicated plans, just a relaxing getaway.

The owner wouldn’t check me in after I said I didn’t want him to photograph my ID. If you don’t want your ID photographed, I recommend avoiding this place. In response to your comment: the gentleman didn’t refuse to show his ID, only to have it photographed. He asked you to fill in a form with our details instead of taking a photo of the document, but you told us to leave. That wasn’t nice, and neither is this conversation. Calling customers “weird” is no way to do good business. I still don’t recommend the place.

It’s a beautiful place, but dogs barked like crazy all night long. We barely got any sleep for four nights 😭😭😭
