The waiter was really kind and helpful. I wanted a hot drink, but not tea or coffee, so he made me some hot wine. We’d stopped in after a day of skiing, and the meal was a lovely surprise. Both the garlic soup and deer beef were delicious, with the flavors working so well together. I’m sure we’ll come back after another ski day.

The kids’ corner was a lovely extra, with plenty of toys to keep them occupied. We only dropped in for a bite, but the food was really good, especially the tomato soup, which was my favorite.

We had drinks on the shaded terrace out front, which was very nice. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and the food was delicious, served in a classy way with good local wines. The newly built pension has nearly 20 rooms, and everything in ours worked, including the air conditioning. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold dishes, plus great coffee. There can be some road noise, but we just shut the windows and ran the AC. It’s a cozy place, and I strongly recommend it.

The deer steak looked great and tasted delicious, though I don’t like sauce poured over the meat because then I can’t fully taste it. The restaurant was clean and had a pretty good atmosphere. When I came in, the two waitresses looked at me and waited for me to say hello. I missed some attention, passion, and enthusiasm from the staff. Still, I recommend stopping by.

The little play corner has plenty of toys for kids. We came for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how excellent the food was. Recommended!
