The staff were very kind and helpful, and the rooms were spacious. The location was nice, and breakfast was decent. Parking was a bit tricky, but manageable. The bathroom extractor fan sounded like a jet engine.

You’re right in the heart of Košice’s pedestrian zone, just a few steps from the Dome, with restaurants, pubs, wine bars, and museums all within walking distance. Even though pubs and restaurants nearby play live music, the rooms are quiet and very spacious. The hotel is really comfortable, and breakfast was very good, with plenty of sweet and savory options and both hot and cold drinks.

I was staying in a B&B upstairs, inside the hotel, but didn’t realize it was separate from the hotel. On the morning of 31stOct, I asked the receptionist a question and he refused to speak to me because my room wasn’t connected to them. He could have been kinder, especially as I’d just had an operation. People in Kosice haven’t been very friendly to us as British visitors, and I was really disappointed by how we were treated.

We stopped in for the daily lunch menu. The tables were clean, the staff polite, and our three-course meals came out promptly in just the right portion size. The set menu has limited choices, but it’s a good option for families with a busy schedule or young kids who struggle to sit still at mealtimes. Two three-course meals cost €15. Definitely recommend.

An excellent hotel right in the heart of Kosice, close to the Old Town restaurants and the singing fountain.
